AML Policy for UK Players

Our AML Policy outlines how we prevent money laundering and terrorism financing on our platform. Learn about our verification process, user obligations, and the measures we take to keep all accounts secure.

AML Policy

We are committed to adhering to the highest standards in preventing money laundering and the financing of terrorism, in line with our Anti-Money Laundering Policy. As part of this commitment, we take robust measures to deter any form of illegal activity. We are obligated to report to the relevant authorities whenever there is suspicion that funds deposited into a user account may be connected to illegal activities or the financing of terrorism. Where required, we will freeze such funds and take action as dictated by applicable AML regulations.

Definition of Money Laundering

Money laundering is defined as any of the following acts:

  • Concealing or maintaining confidentiality about the true origin, location, disposition, movement, ownership rights, or other property rights of assets acquired through illegal means.
  • Transforming, acquiring, possessing, or using assets derived from criminal activities to hide their illegal origins or to assist individuals involved in criminal acts in evading legal consequences.
  • Engaging in transactions involving assets obtained through criminal activities conducted in the territory of another country.

To prevent the introduction of criminally obtained capital into the economy, various nations have enacted laws and measures against money laundering and terrorism financing. We implement internal policies and procedures, alongside special measures, to support global efforts in combating these activities.

User Obligations

By opening an account on our platform, you agree to the following:

  • Abide by all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, including our AML Policy.
  • Declare that, to the best of your knowledge, the funds deposited now, previously, or in the future are not derived from illegal sources, nor are they associated with the legalisation of proceeds from illegal activities or any other illicit activities prohibited by law or international organisational directives.
  • Promptly provide any information deemed necessary by our platform in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements related to the prevention of money laundering.

Our AML Measures

Our platform undertakes the following measures to prevent money laundering and related offences:

  • Collection and maintenance of user identification documents, such as passports or other recognised forms of identification, and monitoring of any account changes over time.
  • Monitoring of suspicious activities on user accounts and transactions under specific conditions that may indicate irregular financial behaviour.
  • The right to suspend user accounts if there are reasonable grounds to believe the account is connected to money laundering or criminal activities, without the obligation to inform the user of the suspicion or the reporting of such activities to the relevant authorities.

Identity Verification

In line with our internal AML procedures, we conduct initial and ongoing verification of user identity based on the risk level associated with each account. The following principles apply to this process:

  • Only the minimum information required will be requested to confirm your identity at each stage of verification.
  • All data collected, identification methods used, and outcomes of the verification process will be recorded and preserved in accordance with applicable retention requirements.
  • Personal data will be cross-referenced with lists of individuals suspected of terrorism, compiled by authorised state and independent bodies. Identification data will include the user’s full name, date of birth, residential or registered address, and sources of funds.

To verify and confirm the authenticity of the data provided, we may require the following documents:

  • A passport, national identification card, or equivalent document that includes the holder’s full name, date of birth, and photograph, issued by national authorities.
  • A recent utility bill no older than three months, or other documents that verify the user’s current residential address.

Additional information and documents may be requested as necessary. In some cases, notarised copies of documents may also be required to complete the verification process. All submitted documents are handled with strict confidentiality and are used solely for the purposes described in this policy.
